Applicant must be either a member in good standing of Post 647, a spouse of a current member of Post 647, a lineal descendant of a current member of Post 647.

Applicant demonstrates character, integrity and leadership through participation in school and/or extra curricular activities. |
Funding of the Scholarship
Funding of American Legion Post 647 scholarships is subject to the following:
- Funds will be disbursed after commencement of the academic term each year, payable to the student.
Please use the forms as provided to apply for this scholarship. Use additional paper only as needed.
The Scholarship Committee of the American Legion Post 647 will consider your application and make its recommendations to the Board of Directors of Post 647. All decisions of the Board of Directors are final. Announcement of the scholarship awards will be made in June.
ALL APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN MAY 1 OF THE CURRENT YEAR (POSTMARK DATE). INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
